- CB Hornet, Xblade, CBR250R remove from website
- BS6 variant of CB Hornet 160R will come soon
- BS6 CBR250R launch unlikely
Honda updated its official website recently and as a part of this update, the company as removed CB Hornet 160R, Xblade and the CBR250R.
A closer look at the website clearly suggests that it now contains model and information of BS6 variants only. The company hasn’t launched the BS6 variant of its high selling CB Hornet 160R brand. In fact, we believe it is due to the current COVID-19 lockdown. The BS6 CB Hornet 160R is likely to make its way to the showroom post lockdown.
The Xblade and the CBR250R are unlikely to be launched in BS6 avatar due to the poor sales over the last few years. Even if Honda plans to launch the BS6 Xblade, it might do it in the festive season by bringing in a fancier Xblade. This Honda didn’t sell well due to its radical design language and the presence of two strong brands around it – the CB Hornet 160R and the CB Unicorn 150.
