Honda has updated its CB Shine range with new paint schemes and funky decals. With the range now starting at Rs 55,559 (ex-showroom, Delhi), Honda has used this update as an excuse to hike the prices of the popular 125cc commuter motorcycle.
The four new paint schemes launched for the CB Shine are - black, geny gray metallic, maple brown metallic and imperial red metallic. Besides the new paint schemes, the CB Shine also gets a black visor for its front cowl and a redesigned tail lamp assembly.
The CB Shine is not only the most popular 125cc commuter bike in India, but also Honda’s international bestseller. It is powered by a single-cylinder engine which delivers 11bhp and 10Nm of torque through a four-speed gearbox. Along with Honda’s traditional reliability, the CB Shine also comes with tubeless tyres, an optional disc brake, adjustable rear suspension and alloy wheels. Honda also offers a top-end version of the motorcycle equipped with a CBS (combined braking system), priced at Rs 60,808 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with other commuter motorcycles like the Yamaha Saluto, Hero Glamour and the Bajaj Discover 125.
