Sales of the Honda CB Shine SP have crossed the one lakh mark within nine months of the motorcycle’s launch in the Indian market.
The CB Shine SP is the most premium 125cc offering in Honda’s Indian portfolio. The CB Shine SP’s sharp styling and promise of good fuel economy has helped draw customers to the showrooms. While the CB Shine is doing pretty well by itself, the addition of the CB Shine SP to the range has further boosted Honda’s market share in the 125cc motorcycle segment.
The CB Shine SP is available in three variants with prices ranging from Rs 67,000 to Rs 72,000 (on-road, Delhi). The standard CB Shine on the other hand is priced between Rs 61,000 to Rs 67,000 (on-road, Delhi). This kind of pricing has helped Honda dealerships convince buyers planning to buy the regular CB Shine to upgrade to CB Shine SP. This task is easier for customers opting to finance their purchase as the difference in EMIs works out to a very small amount. Of late, Honda has also been offering festive season discounts and reduced rate of interest for buyers of the CB Shine SP to further boost its sales.
The Honda CB Shine SP is available in five paint schemes – blue, red, grey, white and black. It goes up against other premium commuter bikes like the Hero Ignitor and the Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS.
