Honda has showcased its premium 150cc naked streetfighter – the CB150R ExMotion, at the Thai Motor Show 2018. The bike is already on sale in Thailand for the price of Rs 99,800 THB (Rs 2.12 lakhs).
The CB150R ExMotion maintains the same design language as its bigger siblings – the CB300R, CB650R and the litre-class CB1000R. The round headlamp consists of LED lights which look premium along with golden upside down front forks. The instrument cluster is a fully-digital unit. The chiseled fuel tank gets a contrast coloured bikini fairing and the upswept tail section gives it a sporty look.
The Honda CB150R is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve, DOHC engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The company hasn’t divulged power figures of the bike yet. It gets 41mm upside down forks on the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by 296mm single disc with radially mounted four-piston caliper on the front and a 220mm disc at the back. ABS comes as an option.
There are no reports about the CB150R ExMotion’s India launch. However, Honda is keen on bringing its premium products from the 160cc-300cc segment, once the BS-VI norms kick-off. Thus, we can expect this to be introduced here in the future.
