- CB350, CB350RS get 10-year extended warranty
- Prices of the warranty package start at Rs. 5,321
- Free for the first 10,000 customers
Honda has decided to bring its 10-year extended warranty programme to the CB350 range. The company has been offering these warranty packages to its mass market customers. The Japanese brand is now offering the 10-year warranty to the new CB350 and the CB350RS buyers free of cost. But this offer is valid to the first 10,000 customers and is applicable on all sales from 8 August. However, there’s still no clarity on whether the dealer will offer this warranty directly or the customers need to opt for it at the time of booking.
Meanwhile, there’s another extended warranty plus program where the customers have the option of selecting a package ranging from 91 days to the ninth year from the date of purchase. Through this warranty program, Honda is offering three different types - a 3-year policy for bikes up to the 7th year, a 2-year policy for bikes in their 8th year, and a 1-year policy for those in their 9th year. These options extend coverage up to 1,30,000 kilometers for all their H’ness & CB350RS motorcycles. The pricing structure for this warranty program is based on the purchase year of the bike, but it starts at Rs 5321.
This is a fantastic way to give the customers a complete peace of mind. But it is also clear that Honda isn’t doing good sales numbers for these bikes, and these are one of the marketing push to get the required sales numbers this upcoming festive season.
