Honda India recently welcomed its third 350cc retro bike in the form of the CB350. Although it is based on the existing CB line, the new model looks slightly different. And if it has caught your attention, then here are a few highlights of the new CB350.
Design
The new CB350’s bodywork is old school but it has an uncanny resemblance to the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Its cues include a round headlight with either a chrome or matte bezel, depending on the body colour. Then, there is a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with tank pads for added convenience. It also gets split seats with tan-leather-style covers. For a contrasting effect, the CB350 sports chrome finishing on the exhaust, rear spring cover, and the engine casing.
Features
Along with LED illumination, the CB350 has been equipped with a few other features too. It gets a semi-digital instrument console, emergency stop signal, ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, side stand cut-off, and voice control as well. Even though the features are a tad basic, these are quite usable and handy.
Engine
Powering the new CB350 is the same 348.36cc, air-cooled, engine that dishes 20.78bhp and 30Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox and sits inside the same double-cradle frame.
Hardware
The CB350 rides on telescopic front forks with gas-charged rear springs. Its braking hardware includes a 310mm front and 240mm rear disc with ABS. These brakes are mounted on a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel wrapped in 100/90 front and 130/70 rear tyres. The CB350 weighs 187kg and has a 15.2-litre fuel tank capacity.
Price
The Honda CB350 is offered in two variants – DLX and DLX Pro. The asking price for the CB350 DLX is Rs. 1,99,990, while the DLX Pro costs Rs. 2,17,800 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
