- Honda CB350 priced from Rs 2 lakh
- Same engine as the rest of the range
- Competes against Royal Enfield Classic 350
Honda’s introduction of the new CB350 in India was a shocker since the brand already has the H’ness CB350 in its line-up. Honda might have dropped the ‘H’ness’ moniker but has added even more retro-ness with the new motorcycle.
Now, the brand is offering the motorcycle in a choice of five colour options and two variants- DLX and DLX Pro. The DLX is priced at Rs 1,99,900, ex-showroom while the DLX Pro comes in at Rs 2.17 lakh, ex-showroom. If you want the motorcycle in shiny metallic colours, there are the Precious Red Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black. However, if matte is your taste, the new Honda CB350 is also offered in Matte Crust Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic and Matte Dune Brown. Honda is offering all colours except the Black with a tanned brown leather seat.
Other than the styling, Honda has also added some flair to bring in the retro aspect of the new CB350. There is decent amount of chrome like the H’ness CB350 but with a pea-shooter exhaust, large front and rear fenders and tank grips. Under the new bodywork is the same tried-and-tested 348cc engine that churns out 20.78bhp and 30Nm. While hardware remains the same, so do the feature list. The motorcycle comes with all LED illumination, Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (DLX Pro), Honda Selectable Torque Control, and an emergency stop signal.
With the changes it gets, the new CB350 is even more a threat to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 than before and also goes up against the Jawa Standard in the country.
