- Priced from 23.56 lakh
- No change in features or performance
- Only sold through Big Wing outlets
Honda has slashed the price of its flagship supersport- the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade by a whopping Rs 10 lakh.
The motorcycle was launched at around Rs 33 lakh sometime last year but now with the discount, the CBR1000RR-R costs Rs 23.56 lakh for the Black colour. On the other hand, the Grand Prix Red is priced at Rs 24 lakh, ex-showroom. The new prices seem more reasonable and put it on par with its rivals- the Ducati Panigale V4 (Rs 23.50 lakh) and the Aprilia RSV4 (Rs 23.69 lakh).
Nonetheless, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade remains the same in terms of performance and features as well. It uses a 999cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 16-valve, DOHC engine that produces 215bhp at 14,500rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 12,500rpm. The electronics package consists of a Bosch six-axis IMU with rider aids, including throttle-by-wire, three riding modes, ABS, wheelie control, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and launch control.
While it has become a better proposition now, Honda will continue to sell it through its premium Big Wing showrooms that are limited across India.
