- Revealed for Indonesian market
- Limited to just 75 units
- Is mechanically unchanged
Honda has revealed the CBR250RR Garuda x Samurai Edition in Indonesia.
The motorcycle is limited to just 75 units to mark the Republic of Indonesia’s 75th Independence Day. What makes this limited-edition motorcycle special is the livery. It features a mix of Japanese and Indonesian culture in the form of an eagle (Garuda) on the left fairing and a samurai on the right. Moreover, the Indonesian Batik and Japanese Sakura inspired graphics also feature above the LED headlamps. Honda has also adorned the wheels in a gold-finishing to complete the look.
Apart from the livery, the Honda CBR250RR Garuda x Samurai Edition remains the same as the standard model. It comes powered by a 249cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 41bhp and 25Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and quickshifter. It comes equipped with electronic aids like ride-by-wire and offers three ride modes.
Honda is unlikely to launch the CBR250RR in India as it would be difficult to price the motorcycle competitively. However, if it is launched in the country, it will face competition from the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC390 here.
