The most awaited motorcycle from Honda – the CBR250RR might be launched next week. The official Honda importer in Indonesia Astra Honda Motor has sent out press invites for a new motorcycle that will be unveiled next week.
This information was revealed by Indonesia auto website – TMCBlog, who are known to release accurate details of new Honda and Yamaha bikes. Interestingly, it’s the same importer that released the first ever teaser video of this quarter-litre Honda motorcycle on YouTube. Rumours suggest that the new CBR250RR will carry a price tag of 60 million Indonesian rupiah (Rs 3.07 lakh).
In terms of features, the CBR250RR will get upside-down forks, split seats, ABS and a digital instrument cluster. There were rumours about this bike getting ride-by-wire and switchable modes, however, we'll know about it next week, hopefully. This motorcycle is expected to be powered by a new parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that’ll have a power output of around 45bhp.
