The much awaited Honda CBR650F motorcycle is now available in India and sold through ‘Wing World’ dealerships in 13 cities across India. It is a tourer motorcycle that features Honda's 650cc inline-four engine and their traditional superbike styling. Let’s have a look at the design and features of the motorcycle.
-The new Honda CBR 650F has a wheelbase of 1449mm; it is 2107mm in length, 753mm in width and 1149mm in height. It has a ground clearance of 1149mm and kerb weight of 215kg.
-The CBR650F has a twin-spar steel diamond frame with front telescopic forks. ABS comes as standard and the bike features double petal disc brakes of 320mm with traditional two-piston callipers in the front.
-The bike features a new aluminium swing arm and a preload adjustable rear monoshock with 7-stage spring preload adjustment at the rear end of the bike. The stubby exhaust also looks sporty.
-The Honda CBR650F is powered by a 650cc inline-four mill that churns out 87bhp of power at 11,000rpm and 63Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. The powerplant comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
-The motor is set up to support low and medium engine speeds offering everyday usability and a good balance of performance and fuel economy. The clip on handlebars do offer a sporty stance.
-Featuring Honda’s ignition security system, the digital instrument cluster comes with a white backlight. It boasts of a digital speedometer, KM counter, two trip meters, bar tachometer and a fuel gauge.
-The new Honda CBR 650F is assembled in India with a localisation content of five per cent. The motorcycle comes only in one colour- Pearl Metalloid White.
