- Honda CBR650R BS6 priced at Rs 8.88 lakh
- CB650R BS6 available Rs 8.67 lakh
- Both motorcycles sold via BigWing Topline showrooms
Honda 2Wheelers India has commenced the deliveries of the BS6-compliant CBR650R and CB650R via its BigWing Topline showroom. The company started the deliveries after the relaxation of the COVID-19 related restrictions in the country. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer said in the press announcement that it delivered 15 units of the CBR650R and the CB650R in a single day.
Both motorcycles are imported in India via the completely knocked down (CKD) route. The naked roadster has been priced at Rs 8.67 lakh while the fully-faired model is available for Rs 8.88 lakh.
The CBR650R and the CB650R feature similar underpinnings and specifications, although they are distinguished through their respective styling. The mechanical specifications include a 649cc, DOHC 16-valve, inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 86bhp of power at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm. Both models feature a six-speed gearbox that benefits from an assist and a slipper clutch mechanism.
The feature list on both motorcycles includes full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) technology, Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The digital instrument cluster packs a wide range of information, although it misses the Bluetooth-connectivity option.
The CBR650R is available in two colours – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. The CB650R, too, is available in two paint options – Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
