- Replacement of the CD 110 Dream
- Available in trendy dual-tone colours
- Gets a luggage rack
Honda has launched a new entry-level motorcycle, christened as the CD 110 Dream DX, at Rs 48,641 (ex-showroom). A replacement for the CD 110 Dream, the DX gets a luggage rack and new dual-tone paint schemes.
The CD 110 Dream DX gets a basic and conservative design, although the headlamp cowl does add some flair. The single-piece seat is designed to make it comfortable over broken roads, while the luggage rack improves the practicality. It is available in five dual tone colours.
At the heart of the CD 110 Dream DX is a 109cc single-cylinder engine delivering 8.3bhp and 9Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed transmission. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The brake setup consists of 130mm drum brakes at both ends.
Honda’s Dream range consists of three 110cc commuter motorcycles. However, these models have failed to replicate the success of the 125cc commuter bike – CB Shine. Hero MotoCorp continues to dominate this segment with the Splendor and the Passion. Nevertheless, these new updates should give the Dream range a shot in the arm and boost their sales.
