Honda recently launched the CD 110 Dream commuter motorcycle for the Indian market. The company has revealed that the motorcycles will go on sale in a phased manner and the first lot of bikes will reach few showrooms in select cities across the country.
Honda introduced the CD 110 Dream with an intention of fulfilling the utilitarian needs of ‘urban’ customers. Though the design of the bike has been kept basic and minimalistic, the company has done a funky yet subtle stickering job. The bike will be available in three colours and variants- black with red stripes, black with blue stripes and black grey stripes. The signature silver-black engine sleeve is seen apart from the silver alloys and it also gets a stylish metre console.
The CD 110 Dream is powered by an 110cc single-cylinder engine that produces 8.25bhp and 8.63Nm of torque. The motor is mated a four-speed sequential gearbox. The bike boasts of a fuel economy of 74kmpl due to HET (Honda Eco Technology) which, Honda has equipped the motorcycle with.
The Honda CD 110 Dream is the third motorcycle to coexist with the other two Dream series of motorcycles from Honda - Dream Neo and Dream Yuga. Priced at Rs 41,100 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), the motorcycle is an affordable product for an Indian customer to buy. The motorcycle goes up against the HF Series of motorcycles from Hero MotoCorp.
