Yesterday, Honda organised its Mumbai chapter’s first Honda Wing Ride for this riding season. Conducted exclusively for the brand’s big bike customers, the Honda Wing Ride is held once in every two months.
This edition of the Honda Wing Ride witnessed the participation of 26 riders aboard Honda CBR650Fs, Africa Twins, CB1000Rs and CBR1000RR Fireblades. Organised as a breakfast ride, the Honda Wing Ride was flagged off from the Wing World dealership in Andheri at 6am with a briefing about the route and safety protocols. The riders then headed to a resort in Igatpuri. Honda had arranged for a pilot, sweep and a backup vehicle for the convoy, in case of an emergency. They had also arranged for convenient pitstops en route. After a quick breakfast at Igatpuri, the riders made their way back to Mumbai.
All the Honda big bike customers, beginning with the CBR650F, can be a part of the Honda Wing Rides as long as they bought their motorcycles through the official channel. Honda takes care of organising the ride and there is no entry fee for the rider. The details of the ride are announced a week before the actual ride. Those interested in being a part of these rides can get in touch with the Mumbai Wing World dealership for more details.
