Honda has revealed the concept model of the CRF250 Rally. The company has combined the elements of the CRF250L dual sport and the CRF450 Rally racer onto this bike and it looks really good.
For now, the CRF250 Rally is only a concept but as most of the components are being shared with the CRF250L, it shouldn’t take much for Honda to turn it into a production model. The CRF250 Rally Concept will be showcased to the world at the Osaka Motorcycle Show. This concept motorcycle will be seen sharing stage with the SFA streetfighter concept, the RC213V-S MotoGP replica, the True Adventure concept and another yet-to-be-revealed new concept model.
The CRF250 Rally is powered by the same single cylinder liquid-cooled 250cc engine of the CRF250L which makes about 22bhp of power at 8500rpm and maximum torque of 22Nm at 7000rpm. As per Honda, this machine can deliver 32kmpl, which is quite good for this type of motorcycle.
While a lot of us in India have been waiting for a mid-sized adventure motorcycle, I, for one really don’t mind changing my preference from the upcoming KTM Duke 390 adventure to the CRF250 Rally. But that will only be possible when the Indian arm of Honda expands its focus to include new premium motorcycle launches.
