Honda India has just commenced the dispatch of its latest product – the Navi. Launched at the 2016 Auto Expo at a price tag of Rs 39,500 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Navi is a scooter that’s made to look like a motorcycle.
While the bookings for the Navi began via a mobile application, the deliveries will begin in a couple of days. However, a couple of Mumbai Honda dealers have no clue about this booking approach. This came to light when a couple of customers including someone from the BikeWale team, called up their chosen dealership (this is selected while booking the Navi on the app) to enquire about their booking. Even after having a booking number in hand, the dealership urged the customers to come to the showroom and do a new booking.
As per Honda, the application has registered more than 20,000 downloads and 1,000 bookings in just one month. However, we urge the Japanese manufacturer to first inform all its dealers about the new booking process of this fun scooter. It’ll be helpful for both – customers and the dealers to get through the booking process smoothly.
