- Honda Dio available in seven colour options
- Sold in a Standard and a Deluxe variant
The Honda Dio is essentially the Activa 6G mechanically but adorns sportier clothing. While it offers the reliability and refinement of the latter, it targets the riders who want a more aggressive-looking and youthful scooter. Taking this into consideration, Honda offers the Dio in as many as seven colour options, distributed within two variants – Standard and Deluxe.
The Deluxe variant can be had in one of the four colour options it is available in including Metallic Red, Metallic Grey, Metallic Yellow, and Metallic Blue. As for the Standard trim, it comes in three paint schemes – Metallic Grey, Red, and Orange. Except for the Metallic Grey version, which is common in both variants, all other colours are dual-tone. What differentiates the Standard and Deluxe variants aesthetically is the presence of golden alloy wheels in the latter and different decals.
In terms of features, setting them apart is an LCD instrument cluster in the Deluxe trim which isn’t available in the Standard model. The list of common features includes an LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, an engine start/stop switch, side stand engine cut off switch, and a front pocket. Powering the Honda Dio is a 109.51cc, fan-cooled engine mated to a CVT transmission system. It churns out 7.65bhp of power and 9Nm of peak torque.
