The Honda Dio has always been in the shadow of its sibling- the Activa. However, it continues to remain popular among young buyers thanks to its sharp bodywork and edgy styling. That said, Honda is also offering the scooter in a choice of seven snazzy colour options to match.
Available in two variants, the standard Honda Dio is offered in three colours- Vibrant Orange, Sports Red and Matte Axis Grey. Meanwhile, the DLX variant of the Dio can be had in four paint schemes. There is the Matte Sangria Red, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.
However, apart from these colours, the Honda Dio is also available in a Repsol Edition that is adorned with the iconic orange, white and black colour scheme similar to that of its MotoGP bike.Underneath the bodywork, the Dio is powered by a 109cc, engine similar to that of the Activa 6G.
This motor churns out 7.6bhp and 9Nm. That said, its design and displacement put it in contention with the TVS Scooty Zest 110 and the Hero Pleasure Plus here. As for pricing, Honda has tagged the Dio from Rs 66,862 while the DLX version costs Rs 70,260, both ex-showroom.
