- Honda CB125X and CB125M likely to be unveiled in 2020
- Sport distinctive ADV and supermoto styling
- Might not make it to India anytime soon
Honda unveiled the CB125X and CB125M as concepts back at the 2018 EICMA. And now, the manufacturer has officially filed patents for the two motorcycles.
The CB125X borrows its styling from Dakar motorcycles. It gets sleek bodywork, a long seat, large windscreen with a distinctive full-LED headlamp. Moreover, the motorcycle also sports long-travel suspension, a bash plate, knuckle guards and rides on spoke wheels with dual-sport tyres that complete its character.
On the other hand, the CB125M is a supermoto-styled motorcycle. The CB125M sports minimal bodywork and a single-LED light fitted on a race number-plate upfront. The concept motorcycle rides on alloy wheels with slicks on both ends, however the production variant is likely to get road-biased rubber. Apart from the suspension, the supermoto also has a different braking setup as compared to the CB125X. Although both motorcycles are equipped with LCD screens for instrument clusters and slash-cut SC Project exhausts.
Honda hasn’t revealed the specifications or details of either the CB125X or CB125M yet, and is expected to do so when the bikes are officially unveiled sometime in 2020. The manufacturer is unlikely to introduce the two motorcycles in India anytime soon as our country currently does not have a market for such products.
