Honda 2Wheelers India has commenced the deliveries of the new Gold Wing Tour BS6 in the country. The luxury tourer was launched in the Indian market in two variants – manual transmission and DCT with Airbag. The manual transmission variant is available for Rs 37,20,342 while the DCT with Airbag version has been priced at Rs 39,16,055 (ex-showroom, India).
Honda had confirmed via a press announcement that all units of the Gold Wing Tour BS6 from the first lot were sold out within 24 hours of booking open announcement. However, the company has not revealed the total number of units that were sold in the first lot.
The manual transmission version is available in Pearl Glare White colour option while DCT model is listed in Gunmetal Black Metallic with Matte Morion Black paint. Both variants of the motorcycle use the same 1,833cc, flat-six, liquid-cooled, BS6-compliant engine that makes 124.7bhp of maximum power at 5,500rpm and 170Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm.
The comprehensive feature list on the 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour comprises full-LED lighting, an electronically-adjustable screen, two USB Type-C ports, a seven-inch TFT-screen, and gyrocompass navigation. The motorcycle also benefits from an upgraded audio and speaker system, passenger audio control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, tyre pressure monitoring, and Smart Key operation.
