Honda has added the BS6-compliant Grazia 125 to its line-up of scooters in India. The sporty scooter which goes up against the ApriliaSR125, TVS Ntorq 125, and Yamaha Ray ZR 125 gets a host of new updates that differentiate it from the BS4 model. Here, we list out what's new about the Honda Grazia 125 BS6.
New features
In its BS4 guise, the Honda Grazia 125 offered a decent amount of features. However, the manufacturer has revised those features and has also added some extra equipment in the BS6 model. The fully-digital instrument cluster has been redesigned and now displays average and real-time fuel-efficiency along with distance-to-empty along with other vital information.
Furthermore, the Honda Grazia 125 BS6 also offers side stand indicator with engine cut-off function and external fuel-filler cap. While the standard version gets an engine kill switch, the Deluxe variant sports an Idling Stop System.
Revised dimensions
While the Honda Grazia 125 BS6 comes with the same telescopic forks up front, it now sports a three-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. On the other hand, braking duties and wheel sizes remain the same. However, the ground clearance has increased to 171mm and the scooter is also a kilogram heavier at 108kg.
Fuel-injected motor
Honda has added its proprietary Programmed Fuel Injection system to the Grazia’s 124cc, engine. The motor churns out 8.1bhp of power at 6,000rpm; a slight drop from the BS4 model’s figure of 8.5bhp at 6,500rpm. Moreover, torque has also been reduced. It is now rated at 10.3Nm as against the previous 10.5Nm.
New colour options
Honda is offering the scooter in a choice of four colour options- Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Cyber Yellow, Pearl Spartan Red, and Pearl Siren Blue.
Price
The new Honda Grazia 125 is available in two variants- standard and Deluxe that are priced at Rs 73, 912, and Rs 80,978 respectively. They cost a premium of Rs 13,616 and Rs 16,310 over their BS4 counterparts.
