Honda’s latest two-wheeler, the Grazia has seen a good initial response from the market. The company has sold 15,000 Grazias in 21 days.
Positioned as a premium 125cc scooter, the Grazia gets first-in-class features that make the product an exciting one. The scooter is equipped with LED headlamp and a 3-step eco speed indicator that uses the throttle input to show the riding efficiency. The instrument cluster on this scooter is one of the best in the India. The combination of big fonts, right backlight and dash design makes it really good to look at.
The Grazia is based on the famous Activa 125. So it gets the same 125cc single-cylinder motor that produces 8.4.bhp and 10.5Nm of peak torque. The Japanese manufacturer is also offering the scooter with an optional 190mm disc brake at the front. Honda’s safety technology, the combi-braking system (CBS), is offered as standard.
Honda has never been able to perform really well in the 125cc scooter segment with the Activa 125. In fact, the Suzuki Access 125 has been ruling this spectrum for many years now. With the new Grazia, Honda might be able to take away some sales from the Suzuki, but only time will reveal that.
