Honda recently launched the Grazia Sports Edition and as its name suggests, the scooter is based on the Grazia 125. Here we list down the differences and similarities and all that you need to know about the Honda Grazia Sports Edition.
Pricing
Let’s get the pricing out of the way first. Honda has pegged the new Grazia 125 Sports Edition at Rs 82,564 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). This puts it at a premium of Rs 1,000 over the Disc version.
What do you get for the extra money?
Well, for the extra Rs 1,000 over the standard Grazia, the Sports Edition offers two new colour schemes. There is the Pearl Nightstar Black that incorporates red accents on the front and side fairing along with the grab handles. The Sports Red colour also mixes red with spurts of white highlights in different places. Moreover, the Honda Grazia Sports Edition also boasts of a red coloured rear suspension, racing stripes and ‘125’ graphics on the front fairing that set it apart.
Same design as standard model
The differences between the Grazia Sports Edition and the standard variant are limited to the visual elements. Underneath the new paint schemes and graphics, the scooter remains the same. It gets the aggressive fascia with full-LED lighting, a small visor with an LED DRL and a sharp rear section as well.
No changes to its engine
Powering the Grazia Sports Edition is a 124cc, single-cylinder, BS6-compliant engine puts out 8.14bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 10.3Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The scooter also benefits from the Honda Eco Technology (HET) and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP). It also comes with features such as the Idling Stop System and a side-stand indicator with an engine-cut off system.
