- Honda begins factory dispatches of the H’ness CB 350
- Special line-off ceremony hosted
- Deliveries likely to begin soon
Honda has announced that it has started dispatching the newly-launched H’ness CB 350 from its manufacturing plant in Manesar, Haryana. The company also hosted a special line-off ceremony for the same. This will be followed by the commencement of deliveries of the motorcycle which is expected to start in a few days.
Honda stepped into the mid-size modern-classic segment with the H’ness CB 350 which was unveiled last month. It will be taking on the highly popular Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Standard and the Benelli Imperiale 400. The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will also be one of the close rivals of the H’ness. While Honda has priced the motorcycle attractively, starting from Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), one major downside is that it will be sold only through premium Big Wing stores which are present in a limited number across the country.
The H’ness CB 350 boasts of a vintage design inspired by the CB 1100 EX. However, it packs modern features such as full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled semi-digital console. Powering the bike is a new 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes 20.8bhp and 30Nm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. It also gets dual-channel ABS as standard along with Honda Selectable Torque Control system (HSTC).
The DLX variant of the Honda H’ness CB 350 comes in a choice of three paint schemes - red, black, and green. Meanwhile, the DLX Pro is available in three dual-tone paint schemes – black with silver, blue with white and black with grey.
