Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the launch of the new Hness CB 350. The retro-style motorcycle, which will be sold through the company’s BigWing dealerships, is available from Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Honda Hness CB 350.
Design
The new Honda Hness CB 350 features a retro-look that comprises of a circular headlight, round rear-view mirrors, and several chrome highlights. Chrome treatment is visible on the headlamp bezel, fenders, engine crankcase, and exhaust. Other styling features include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, a wide handlebar, and chopped fenders.
The Honda Hness CB 350 will be available in two variants – DLX and DLX Pro. The DLX variant will be sold in three colour options – red, black, and green. The DLX Pro, on the other hand, will be available in three dual-tone paint schemes – black with silver, blue with white and black with grey.
Features
Adding a touch of modern-ness to the package is the an headlight, LED taillight, and a Bluetooth-enabled semi-digital instrument cluster. The Bluetooth tech on the motorcycle offers access to features like calls, music, messages, navigation, and weather information. Other data that are available on the screen include average fuel economy, real-time fuel economy, distance to empty, battery voltage meter, and gear position indicator. The DLX Pro variant further benefits from Honda Smartphone Voice Control System.
Safety Net
The safety net on the new Hness CB 350 includes dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, side stand engine inhibitor, and a hazard light switch.
Engine
The motorcycle is powered by a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox with an assist and a slipper clutch, the motor is tuned to produce 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and 30Nm at 3,000rpm.
Hardware
The CB 350 is built around a steel double-cradle frame. The suspension setup on the motorcycle comprises of telescopic front forks and dual springs at the back. Anchoring tasks are handled by a 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm rotor at the rear. The Hness rides on 19-18-inch alloy wheels that are wrapped in 100/90-section front and 130/70-section rear tyres.
