Honda has launched the new Legacy Edition of the Hness CB350 neo-retro offering. This iteration is visually different from other variants and is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it Rs. 1,500 dearer than the DLX Pro Chrome which is the most expensive one amongst the standard trims.
The Hness CB350 comes in the Pearl Siren Blue colour scheme with bolder graphics on the fuel tank and the ‘Legacy Edition’ badge on side panels inspired by the CB350 of the 1970s. Apart from these visual add-ons, the motorcycle remains completely unchanged. It sports with a circular design theme throughout with chrome garnishing on select components to exude a retro vibe. On the contrary, Honda has equipped it with contemporary features like a semi-digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, assist and slipper clutch, and an optional traction control system.
Powering the motorcycle is a smooth 348.36cc, air-cooled engine that produces 20.78bhp and 30Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Underpinned by a double cradle frame, it rides on a 19-18-inch alloy wheel combination suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking is handled by a 310mm disc up front and a 240mm rotor at the rear. Weighing 181kg, the Hness CB350 has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.
The Honda Hness CB350 competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Standard, Benelli Imperiale 400, and the Yezdi Roadster.
