- Hornet 2.0 standard version now available at Rs 1,28,195
- Repsol edition priced at Rs 1,30,195
- No cosmetic upgrades or new features post the price hike
Honda 2Wheelers India has revised the prices of its motorcycles and scooters in the country, and the Hornet 2.0 has been affected by this hike. With the price revision, the standard version of the Hornet 2.0 is now available at Rs 1,28,195 as against Rs 1,26,927 previously. The Repsol Honda edition of the motorcycle, on the other hand, is now listed at Rs 1,30,195 as against Rs 1,28,927 before the hike.
The price hike does not bring any cosmetic or mechanical changes to the motorcycles. Thus, the Hornet 2.0 continues to pack premium features such as full-LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and a muscular design. The hardware continues to comprise upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The anchoring setup includes disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net includes single-channel ABS.
The standard model is available in four colours while the Repsol Honda edition features the MotoGP inspired paint theme.
Mechanical specification on both motorcycles include a 184cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 17bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission.
