- Limited edition Hornet 2.0 launched
- Priced Rs 2000 more than the standard variant
- Mechanicals remain unchanged
Honda has just launched the Hornet 2.0 Repsol Edition. This bike has been priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom Gurgaon) and is available as a limited edition model only.
The Repsol edition is all about paint scheme from Honda’s Repsol racing team. This has been done to make the bike look a bit more enticing and also exclusive. In terms of other aesthetics, there are no changes at all.
The Hornet 2.0 uses a 184cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor that produces 16.1Nm of peak torque. The suspension setup on the motorcycle includes upside-down forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the back. The anchoring power comes from petal-type disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net includes single-channel ABS.
The new Hornet 2.0 packs a naked roadster look that is complemented by features like LED lighting, LCD instrument cluster, muscular fuel tank, step-up saddle and a short exhaust muffler. It also features a rectangular-shaped, blue backlit LCD display and a hazard light switch.
Honda hasn’t said the number of units it plans to sell under this limited edition mode. But with Rs 2000 more than the standard variant, this Hornet 2.0 is definitely a good bike to get home.
