Honda has launched the new Repsol edition of the Hornet 2.0 in India. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes it Rs 1,000 more expensive than the standard model. It is available on sale at all Honda Red Wing dealerships across India.
This new edition of the Hornet sports Repsol graphics which is inspired by the brand’s MotoGP machine. The livery is a bold combination of orange, white, red, and blue decals spread across its fuel tank and tail section. Also, the fuel tank is adorned with conspicuous ‘Repsol’ branding. Meanwhile, the overall sporty and aggressive-looking bodywork remains the same as the standard model.
Powering the Hornet 2.0 is an 184cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 17.03bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6,000rpm. This unit comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Underpinning the bike is a diamond-type frame that rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and is suspended by USD forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a single disc at both ends. The feature list of the Hornet includes all LED lighting, an LCD instrument cluster with five-level brightness adjustment, and an assist and slipper clutch.
