Honda has forayed into the 200cc segment with the Hornet 2.0 in India. The Hornet 2.0 is priced at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom) with its biggest competitor being the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. However, if you are looking to buy a motorcycle around the same price, here are a few options to consider-
Apart from the Apache RTR 200 4V, the Hornet 2.0 also has the Pulsar NS200 as a rival. The naked motorcycle is available at Rs 1.28 lakh. Sporting sharp styling all through, the NS200 uses a 199cc, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 23.8bhp and 18.5Nm. As for features, it comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster and single-channel ABS as standard.
If you want a fully-faired motorcycle around the price of the Honda Hornet 2.0, the Suzuki Gixxer SF is an option. It costs Rs 1.27 lakh and offers an LCD instrument console, single-channel ABS, and full-LED lighting for the headlamp as well as tail lamp. Powering the Suzuki Gixxer SF is a 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that puts out 13.4bhp and 13.8Nm.
Royal Enfield has priced the iconic Bullet 350 at Rs 1.24 lakh. Its retro styling and oodles of chrome is reminiscent of the brand’s earlier motorcycles. The motorcycle also has a minimal approach to features and only comes with a single-channel ABS. Powering the Bullet 350 is a 349cc, single-cylinder air-cooled motor that churns out 19.1bhp and 28Nm of torque.

The list also includes an electric motorcycle in the form of the Revolt RV 400 that can be purchased for Rs 1.29 lakh. The ‘naked’ motorcycle has an exhaustive list of features that comprises a fully-digital instrument cluster, full-LED lighting all around, as well as an app that can be used to start the motorcycle, and set up a geo-fence for additional safety.
