Honda India December sales increased by 36 per cent

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has reported 36.15 per cent growth in their December sales. The company sold 2,96,144 units in December as compared to 2,17,498 units in the corresponding month last year.

Honda Motorcycle sales registered a rise of 17.74 per cent at 1,25,109 units in December 2013, from 1,06,254 units in the same month in 2012. Scooter sales increased by 53.74 per cent at 1,71,035 units from 1,11,244 units in the same month last year. Currently, the Japanese  motorcycle maker’s market share in domestic sales stands at 24 per cent, whereas for exports and domestic sales both, they are at 22 per cent.

Honda is following the one product launch per quarter strategy. We can see more products coming from the company starting this month and are expecting it to display big motorcycles at the 2014 Auto Expo.
