Honda India is currently in the process of developing an entire range of new Navi scooters. This development was revealed during the round table conference with the entire senior management team.
The Japanese manufacturer launched the Navi scooter yesterday at a price tag of Rs 39,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). While the price is quite low for a Honda product, it did so to create some excitement around this segment, which Honda claims to be a new one. But the company isn’t stopping there. Honda is currently in the process of developing three new Navi models – the Navi 2, the Navi 3 and Navi 4. All these models will follow the same fun bike theme, but they will have some changes, mechanically as well as cosmetically. While the company refused to divulge more details, it did mention about its intention to price these models competitively.
The Honda Navi will be sold in the current dealerships but it is planning to create a different section. Along with the display models, it will also showcase various accessories and panels that could be used to accessorise the Navi. Interestingly, around 52 Navis were booked through its app till yesterday night.
We are quite eager to ride the Honda Navi. Stay tuned to BikeWale.
