- X-Blade gets single-channel ABS
- Bike is Rs 8008 more expensive than the standard model
Honda India has introduced the ABS variant of the X-Blade. This motorcycle has been priced at Rs 87,876 (ex-showroom Delh), making it Rs 8008 more expensive than the standard variant.
The Japanese manufacturer has equipped this streetfighter with single-channel ABS system. With this addition, the overall braking performance of the bike is bound to improve. The X-Blade is known for its aggressive design, LED headlamp and sharp tank shrouds. The instrument cluster on the X-Blade is good looking and does a good job of displaying ride data.
The X-Blade gets its power from a 162cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine churns out 13.9bhp and 13.9Nm. Suspension setup consists of telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. As it’s a bike that is placed below the CB Hornet 160R, the X-Blade was never launched with a rear disc brake.
The X-Blade goes against the TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZ V 2.0, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the Suzuki Gixxer.
