Honda India has priced the CB Trigger motorcycle starting at Rs 67,384 (ex-showroom Delhi). The 150cc motorcycle from Japanese maker will be competing with Yamaha FZ series sand TVS Apache RTR.
The CB Trigger is Rs 644 more expensive than the CB Unicorn Dazzler (Rs 66740, ex-showroom Delhi). It is powered by a 150cc single cylinder air-cooled engine which produces 13.81bhp at 8500rpm and 12.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle has a fuel efficiency of 60kmpl and is the first motorcycle to feature the Combi Brake System (CBS) which is optional.
It also features a digital instrument panel, LED tail lamps and alloy wheels. The motorcycle is available with both disc and drum brake options. The CB Trigger is available in Black, Pearl Siena Red and Meteor Green Metallic.
We believe that having two 150cc motorcycles in the same price bracket does not seem like a viable option and it is likely that this is part of the company’s strategy of launching one motorcycle every quarter. With wide range of motorcycles in their portfolio, Indian consumers will have wider range of options to choose from in the Honda line up.
