Honda has launched the MY2018 upgrades for its three commuter motorcycles – CB Shine SP, Livo and Dream Yuga. The new Dream Yuga is priced at Rs 52,741, the Livo retails at Rs 56,230 while the CB Shine SP will set you back by Rs 62,032 (all ex-showroom).
The most obvious updates on the Dream Yuga are a new paint scheme (black/brown) and revised decals. It also gets a redesigned instrument cluster and body-coloured mirrors. The Livo also features revised decals along with a digital display for the insrument console. The CB Shine SP on the other hand, gets new tank extensions and sporty decals. Even the CB Shine SP benefits from a digital display with a service due indicator and a clock. All three bikes feature new low-resistance tyre for better fuel efficiency, and a low-maintenance chain.
None of these bikes get any mechanical updates. Even with these visual upgrades, we can expect a jump in demand for these bikes. The CB Shine SP competes against the Hero Glamour and the Bajaj V12; the Dream Yuga rivals the Hero Passion X Pro and TVS Star City Plus, while the Livo shares the segment with the Hero Splendor 110 and the TVS Victor.
