Honda has finally brought back its quarter-litre motorcycle to India, the CBR250R in a 2018 avatar. The non-ABS version has been priced at Rs 1.63 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) whereas the ABS version gets a price tag of Rs 1.93 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The bike was discontinued last year when the BS-IV emission norms kicked in April. With the 2018 edition, Honda has tried to make the bike a little more appealing by giving it an LED headlight unit. Other than this addition, the bike gets new paint schemes and graphics. The bike is now available in four colours - red, yellow, grey-green and grey-orange.
The 249cc is now BS-IV compliant and churns out 26.5bhp and peak torque of 22.9Nm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox, just like the older model. In terms of equipment, there's no new addition.
The 2018 CBR250R competes with the dashing TVS Apache RR 310 and the track friendly KTM RC200.
