Honda has launched an additional variant of the CB Shine called the CB Shine SP (Special) at Rs 59,901 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The CB Shine SP retains the same engine specifications but now comes with an extra gear that shifts in the one down four up pattern. According to Honda this lends the new bike better pick-up and mileage. However, a number of visual upgrades have been incorporated to set it apart from the CB Shine.
The alloys have now been visually upgraded to a twin-spoke design and the rear shocks now have a red shade. The petrol tank sports new curves and the side panels have been redesigned with a shade of silver for contrast. New lines also differentiate the tail light that smoothly joins the new shape of the tail panels. The seat has also been shaped differently around the new side panels. Further, new decals have been used to freshen the looks of the Shine SP.
Additionally, the speedo used on the bike has been upgraded to a digital and analog combo, while the silencer is now tastefully raked slightly upwards.
Prices for the CB shine SP are:
CB SHINE SP - STD Rs 59,901
CB SHINE SP - DLX Rs 62,399
CB SHINE SP - CBS Rs 64,400
Honda believes that the CB Shine SP with its added features will satisfy the discerning customer, and going by the design of the product, it most certainly feels so.
