Honda has launched a special edition BSB Replica Fireblade priced at GBP 13,499 (Rs 13.59 lakh). This replica of the British Superbike Championship racebike will be produced in a limited run of just 50 units and costs GBP 1,300 (Rs 1.30 lakh) over the price of the standard bike.
The BSB replica Fireblade has been painted in a red and white livery inspired by the factory bikes ridden by Jenny Tinmouth, Dan Linfoot and Jason O’Halloran in the 2015 British Superbike Championship. Though technical details haven’t been revealed yet, the photo released by Honda shows the replica sporting an Akrapovic exhaust system.
Offering racing-spec liveries seems to have become the new trend among superbike companies these days, as Honda has joined other manufacturers like Kawasaki, Suzuki and Ducati by launching this race replica. With deliveries expected to commence by August, the BSB replica Fireblade will be sold exclusively in the UK market.
