- Honda NS110Q launched in China
- Gets a 108cc engine
- Will not be launched in India
Honda has launched a new 110cc scooter in China called the NS110Q through its subsidiary- Sundiro Honda.
The scooter is petite with a quirky design featuring a vertically stacked full-LED headlamp with turn signals fitted on the front panel. Meanwhile, the rear section with the swooping design is reminiscent of the Activa-i that was once sold in India. That said, the silver colour combined with the orange wheels add a hint of sportiness to the NS110Q.
Now, underneath the bodywork is a 108cc air-cooled engine that is tuned to produce 7.8bhp and 8.8Nm. These numbers are similar to what the Activa 6G’s 110cc motor offers- 7.79bhp and 8.79Nm. Even the NS110Q’s kerb weight of 103kg isn’t far off from the Activa which weighs in at 107kg.
Apart from the LED lighting, the NS110Q gets a fully-digital instrument cluster that is circular and goes well with the scooter’s theme. Honda is offering it in a choice of five colours- Titanium, Black, Mint Green, Starry Sky, Radiant and Gray. The NS110Q is exclusive to the Indian market and will not be launched in India where Honda already has a stronghold in the 110cc category with the Activa 6G.
