Honda has announced the launch of the BS6-compliant Livo in the Indian market, and the latest iteration of the commuter motorcycle is available from Rs 69,422 (ex-showroom Jaipur) onwards. Here we bring you the top five highlights of the Honda Livo BS6.
Design
Honda has tweaked the styling to distinguish the latest iteration of the commuter motorcycle from its predecessor. Styling cues include chiselled tank shrouds, updated front visor, bold fuel tank design and a longer seat (+17mm). The BS6 model also gets a refreshed layout to the semi-digital instrument cluster. The console now features service due indicator. Honda has updated the switchgear setup on the BS6 model, and the latest iteration of the Livo comes with features like integrated engine start/stop switch and integrated headlamp beam with passing switch.
Variants and Colour Options
Similar to the BS4 model, the Honda Livo BS6 is available in two variants – Drum and Disc. The motorcycle is available in four colour options – Athletic Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Black.
Engine
The Livo BS6 retains the displacement from the BS4 model. The BS6 upgrade brings PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology), Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) and Honda ACG starter silent starter to the 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine.
Hardware
The hardware setup on the BS6-compliant Honda Livo includes telescopic forks and a five-step adjustable rear suspension to perform the shock absorption tasks. Stopping power comes drum brakes on both wheels. The premium variant receives a disc brake at the front. The safety net on both variants is offered by Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer.
Price
The base (Drum brake) version of the Honda Livo BS6 is priced at Rs 69,422 (ex-showroom Jaipur). Honda is offering a six-year warranty package (three years standard + three years optional extended) with the Livo BS6.
