- Honda NX500 priced at Rs 5.90 lakh
- Competes against Benelli TRK502
- Available in three paint options
Honda globally introduced the NX500- the replacement for the CB500X- at the 2023 EICMA in Italy. Now, just a few months later, the brand has launched the motorcycle in India at Rs 5.90 lakh. This competitive pricing makes it just Rs 5,000 more expensive than the Benelli TRK 502.
The Honda NX500 can be purchased in three colour variants. There is the iconic Grand Prix Red, made famous by the CBR1000RR Fireblade. It includes red with black components. You could also get Pearl Horizon White with grey and red graphics or the Gunpowder Black paint scheme that mixes matte and gloss black for a stealth look.
Powering the Honda NX500 is a 471cc, 47bhp and 43Nm producing parallel-twin engine mated to a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch. Using a pair of Showa SFF-BP inverted forks and a monoshock, the bike rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel with dual-purpose tyres. Braking, on the other hand, is done with 296mm discs up front and a 240mm rear disc. Its list of features is decent too and consists of full-LED lighting, a five-inch colour TFT with Bluetooth and switchable traction control.
