Honda dealers have been offering discounts ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 on the ex-showroom price of the CBR650F.
However here is the catch. The discount is only applicable for the Honda CBR650F models manufactured in 2016. So essentially, this scheme has been rolled out to clear the old stock of the motorcycle. With the drop in ex-showroom price, the effective discount on the on-road price of the motorcycle can go up to Rs 1 lakh.
The Honda CBR650F was launched in India last year as a locally assembled model. While the CBR650F has been applauded for its rideability and versatility, its high price tag turned out to be a deterrent for those looking for a middleweight motorcycle. Now though with the discount, the CBR650F is available with a lucrative price tag of Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
