Honda has launched a new offer for those planning to buy a new CB Shine. Rolled out in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the 125cc commuter motorcycle in India, the scheme offers savings of up to Rs 7,500 for those opting for finance options for the purchase.
Under this scheme, Honda has waived off the processing fee required while taking a loan if the customer opt for one of Honda’s preferred finance partners. The processing fee usually falls in the region of three per cent of the loan amount, roughly equating to about Rs 1,500. Further the CB Shine is now available with a lower rate of interest of 11 per cent. Both these offers translate into benefits of up to Rs 7,500 by the time the loan duration is over.
The CB Shine is Honda’s largest selling motorcycle globally as well as India. Since it was launched in 2006, Honda has sold more than 30 lakh units of the CB Shine, making it one of the most successful models in the company’s history. The CB Shine along with the Activa, have played a major role in helping Honda become India’s second largest motorcycle manufacturer. The CB Shine competes with other 125cc commuter bikes like the Yamaha Saluto, Suzuki Slingshot, TVS Phoenix and the Hero Glamour.
