Honda Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100 updated for 2022

Honda has revealed the 2022 versions of the Rebel 500 and the Rebel 1100 for international markets.

And for the new model year, the bikes receive new colour schemes. To begin with, the Rebel 500 gets a new colou option that Honda is calling Pearl Organic Green. This option will be available alongside the previous Matte Jeans Blue, Graphite Black, and Mat Axis Gray paint schemes. However, mechanically and in terms of features, the Rebel 500 remains the same and comes with a 471cc, parallel-twin engine that is good for 47bhp.   

On the other hand, the bigger Rebel 1100 also gets no other changes apart from a new colour. Adorned in a flashy Pearl Stallion Brown with the rest of the components black, it makes for a tasteful colour combination. It is powered by a 1100cc, parallel-twin similar to the Africa Twin adventure-tourer that is offered with DCT and Manual gearboxes.  Now, the Rebel 1100 is unlikely to make its way to India, however with the CB500X now offered in the country, we can expect the Rebel 500 to make its way here in the near future.
