- New teaser video reveals split-seat setup
- No details about the mechanical specifications yet
- To be launched on 19 August, 2021
Honda 2Wheelers India has released another teaser for its upcoming, entry-level touring motorcycle that will be launched in our market on 19 August, 2021. The new teaser video gives a glimpse at the tall-set handlebar on the upcoming motorcycle that will deliver upright ergonomics. The footage also reveals the step-up split-style seats and the two-piece pillion grab rail. The design looks similar to the setup on the Hornet 2.0, although it’s not an exact replica.
The previous teaser image gave a brief glimpse at the front fascia of this upcoming product from Honda 2Wheelers India. The new tourer motorcycle will feature an LED headlight and knuckle-guard integrated turn indicators at the front. The vehicle will also benefit from a tall windscreen that should provide protection against windblasts and enhance its touring capabilities.
The details about the underpinnings and mechanical specifications are limited, although this new motorcycle should share its parts with the Honda Hornet 2.0. Thus, we expect to see a 184.4cc, single-cylinder engine on this tourer. The motor is tuned to produce 17.03bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm on the Hornet 2.0, and we could see similar numbers on the tourer. The hardware setup, too, will retain upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both ends, and 17-inch wheels.
