Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has resumed production at all its plants across India after temporarily halting operations last month.
The production facilities located in Manesar (Haryana), Tapukara (Rajasthan), Narsapura (Karnataka), and Vithalapur (Gujarat) are now working in full swing. Moreover, the company has also announced support for its dealers by bearing the full interest cost of inventory under complete lockdown for 30 days or more.
Besides this, Honda has also announced an extension of warranty and free service benefits till 31 July 2021 across all dealerships in India. This applies for customers with vehicle service, warranty, and extended warranty originally ending between 1 April and 31 May. In other news, Honda is expected to introduce the RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity to select models with digital instrument clusters in India.It has also submitted trademark applications for the ‘NX200’ that is likely to be an adventure-touring motorcycle.
