Honda Racing India riders have put a good show with great performance in the inaugural round of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2019. While Honda's Rajiv Sethu (21 yrs) finished the first race at 11th spot, Senthil Kumar grabbed the 14th position in the competion. Resultantly, the former scored five points and the latter clenched two points for Honda Racing India. This helped the company earn seven points collectively in the first race of ARRC 2019. The team competed in the AP250 class of the racing championship.
Both Honda riders have been competiting in several motorsport events held in India as well as in other countries. Rajiv Sethu made his debut in ARRC in 2017 when he grabbed the 46th spot while in 2018, he moved up to 27th position. By finishing 11th and scoring five points this time, he recorded the best finish by an Indian rider in this motorsport event till now. Meanwhile, Senthil competed in ARRC for the first time yet scored two points for the team. He made his entry in the field of motorsport with Honda in 2017 by participating in the CBR 150R One Make Championship.
