- Looks like a sport e-scooter
- Electric Activa could be built on this platform
- World debut at Japan Mobility Show
Honda has been working on a series of electric vehicles and one of them is an electric Activa. This e-scooter is likely to be launched in India next year and just today, the brand has unveiled a new electric-scooter concept by the name SC e Concept.
This new electric scooter concept will make its debut in the flesh at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show. It looks like the Japanese brand wanted to create some excitement a month in advance. As of now, there aren’t many details on this concept, other than it uses swappable battery tech.
In terms of styling, the SC e Concept does look fantastic thanks to those sharp lines all the way from the front to the back. The fascia can be seen with a large headlamp having integrated turn indicators. Then, the wheels look bigger, possibly 14 inche,s and that makes the scooter have a great road presence. Further, the wheel design looks quite premium, and so does the seat. It also looks like the e-scooter comes with decent floorboard space and a nicely designed side stand.
Honda India has claimed that the Activa Electric is under development, and the company could use the base platform of the SC e Concept to build it. While the SC e Concept does look fantastic, the styling is a bit too much for typical Activa consumers.
