Honda has revealed that the SFA 150 Concept will be showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Motorcycle Show in Japan. Previously shown in Indonesia, the SFA 150 Concept is a lightweight pocket-sized streetfighter, which gives an insight into the future of Honda’s 150cc models.
Built around a trellis frame with a single-sided swingarm, the SFA 150 Concept is one of the coolest small capacity concept motorcycles ever. It features several funky design features like vertically stacked headlamps and a partially hidden underseat exhaust. Though Honda hasn’t divulged technical details, we expect the SFA 150 Concept to use the four-stroke 150cc single-cylinder mill from the CBR150R.
The SFA 150 Concept is a very radical motorcycle which should give other pocket rockets like the KTM Duke a very tough fight. Though unfortunately, these radical looks also weaken the chances of this motorcycle entering production. Even if Honda does decide to put it into production, the disappointing fact remains that Honda might have to snip off its dramatic design features from the final production model like the single-sided swingarm and the marvellous exhaust. Not that exciting now, is it?
